During my final semester at Northeastern University, I had the privilege of serving as the Creative Director for The Avenue, the university's student-run fashion magazine. This 136-page issue blends fashion photography, art, and writing, centered around the theme of pleasure—explored as a question, an action, and a feeling, creating an ambiguous and multifaceted perspective on the concept.
As Creative Director, I led a creative team of over 200 students, overseeing all aspects of the production process, including styling, hair and makeup, graphic design, photography, video, and communications. Collaborating with my co-creative director, Lauren Violette, we conceptualized and developed the magazine from its initial idea to its final execution. I played an active role in the design process, working closely with the design team to create much of the front matter, as well as several posters and merchandise pieces, contributing to the overall visual direction of the magazine. Additionally, I directed my own photoshoot and immersed myself in every aspect of the magazine's creation.
