For my Typography 2 class, we were tasked with designing an invitation for an event using only type and graphic elements. I chose the 2024 solar eclipse, which I experienced in person. I was drawn to the visual concept of eclipsing and obscuring, and explored this through the use of a transparent envelope that partially conceals the invitation, echoing the celestial event itself.
